从在第五期节目中返场后的暂别舞台，到如今突围赛再次亮相演唱，杜丽莎此次的回归可谓是回应了所有观众的'期待。而再次站上钟爱的舞台、以最爱的音乐争取半决赛的演唱机会，杜奶奶本人也激动直言“开心到流眼泪”。
由于此前的演唱中，她选择的多是抒情慢歌，所以这一次，杜丽莎直言希望带来一首有力量的作品，展现自己在音乐上的不同一面，而在收集了各方的建议后，她最终定下了阿黛尔的两首歌。
竞演现场，杜丽莎身披黑、金搭配的战袍大气演唱《Rumour Has It+Someone Like You》，再现开口跪live，更为亮眼的是，年满60岁的她还携手四名90后萌妹同台尬舞，突破性地表现不仅引爆了观众热情，特来观战的其他三组首发也集体起立共舞，同台的林志炫更大呼：“这才是diva!”
