Today, we are going to talk about the passive voice in the past indefinite tense.
2. Presentation
Use a ruler, a writing brush, a pen to ask:
What’s this called in English?
What’s it made of?
What’s it used for?
Where is it made?
3. The teaching of the new lesson
A. Unit 10 When was it built?
T: How about this? What’s this? It’s a copper. Can I ask: ‘What’s it made of?’
Ss: No
T: What should I ask? Let’s go on to learn Lesson 37.
B. Teach: what was it made of?
What was it used for? ( For paying)

T: Where can we find such a thing?
Ss: In a museum.
T: Have you ever been to a museum?
Ask and answer in pairs, then fill in the form. Conclude the past indefinite tense of the passive voice.
